职位描述: Summary:Undergeneralsupervision,theBuyerPlannerIIisresponsiblefor,butnotlimitedto,performingmaterialplanningactivitiesintheDemand,Production,andSupplierPlanningfunctionsofcustomerdemandfulfillmentinordertoensuretotalcustomersatisfactionwithinrequiredtimeline,qualitystandards,andtotalcostconstraints.. RESPONSIBILITIES?Monitorandmaintaindeliveryschedules/duedatesinMRPsystembasedonCustomerDemand(PlanningSolutionsandDiscreteSalesOrders)aswellasforecastingtechniqueswhereapplicable.?Analyzeandprovidefeedbacktoappropriatedepartmentsonmaterialstatus/requirementsforfulfillingcustomerdemand.?ProvideleadtimestotheCustomerServiceteamregardingLairdPromiseDateforcustomerdemandfulfillment.?CommunicatewithsalespersonnelandcustomersforforecastandMasterProductionSchedulemaintenance.?Scheduleproductionusingavarietyofinputssuchassalesorders,historicaldata,salesforecasts,andinputsfromproductmanagersorsalesmanagement.?Checkavailabilityofinventorypriortofirming/releasingworkordersusingsystemqueriesandreports.?ManageSupplierSchedulesandSupplierDemandVisibilityapplicationasrequired.SupporttrainingactivityforSuppliersasrequired.?Maintaindiscretepurchaseorders&SupplierSchedulesbasedonMRPActionMessagesandnewengineeringchangeorders.?Monitor/measurematerialcostsavingsplansandtargets;collaboratewithMaterialsManagementandCategoryManagementteamsinsuppliernegotiationinitiativesasrequired.?CollaboratewithmultipleLairdfactoriesandsupplierstoensureproperinventorylevelsforfinishedgoodsandcomponents.?Effectivelymanageinventorylevelstomeetcustomerorders,includingsafety&distributionstock,utilizingprovenSupplyChainsystems.?Develop,improve,andmonitorreportingprocesses&systemstocontrolthesupplychainfunctions.?CollaboratewithMaterialsManagementteamtooptimizesupplychainandlogisticssolutionsinordertomaximizeOnTimeDeliverytoCustomerrequestandLairdpromise,whileminimizinginventoryinvestment.?Makerecommendationstomanagementregardingimprovementsinthesupplychainprocessestobetterenablethecompanytobeefficient,cutcosts,andimprovedeliveryperformancetocustomers.?AdherestoLairdqualityandsafetysystems/safetystandards. REQUIREMENTS?Previousdemonstratedexperienceinproduction/materialsplanning/MRPrequired,QADpreferred.?Goodcommunicationskills,bothwrittenandoral/interpersonal.?Abilitytodefineproblems,collectdata,establishfacts,anddrawvalidconclusions(P/D/C/A).?StrongcomputerskillsincludingMicrosoftWindowsprograms,emphasisonExcel.?Understandingandexperiencewithintegratedmanufacturingsoftwaresystems.?Abilitytomaintainaccuracyandattentiontodetail. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE?BSorBAfromaccredited4-yearcollegepreferred.?Atleast1yearofscheduling&planningexperienceinamanufacturingenvironmentpreferred.?WillingnessandcapabilitytocompleteelementsofCPIMAPICSwithin18monthsofacceptanceofjobposition
